my week thus far Pt. I

as i mentioned before. my consulting company won a contract with another company whom shall remain anonymous and will from now on be referred to 'vosb'. i got the call last wednesday that 'vosb' wanted me to come on board. all i had to do was write up an agreement send it over to them to memoralize our verbal agreement and when i arrived on monday I would come with the more concrete version. I was so excited. I immediately called hubbs to tell him the good news. Consultkmg had won it's first BIG CONTRACT and we were moving forward.

my experience with writing up agreements had been limited to small projects. nothing as big as 36-months, which is what my agreement is with 'vosb'. this is good for two reason. one) i've got time to hone my skills in sales, admin, and consulting. two) i'm guaranteed a paycheck for 36-months. bonus) hubbs and i are going back to NACA on 10/8 and we can happily report two incomes along with the fact that we've paid off the debt they asked us to back in April. Anyhoo, I got to work of the initial agreement and sent it over. The next day I followed up to be sure vosb had received it, and they had no record, but would check and get back to me. this would be the beginning of the longest negotiation of my entrepreneurial career.

vosb would try my patience and in just two days, push me to my emotional max. if i knew then, what I know now. i think. would my company still be employed?
