my trip to Home Goods

First let me say that i have never been to this place in my life. It is awesome. It's like a huge TJMaxx for homes. Score. the Senator and I are looking for a bench to go at the foot of our bed.

This is our bedroom furniture. Compliments of Target. I love that place.

The lamp in the center here was a steal from a home staging furniture store in Bowie.... I think. we got it for $5. Sweet deal, right!? The candles are butterscotch scented and add a nice aroma to the room when we want to be romantic (sorry, TMI).
This flower arrangement is the most loyal at them all. Three years ago while trying my hand at home staging. I took a trip to my local Michaels and bought what I thought was pretty. At the time I had no sense of what flowers complimented one another (I still don't), I just bought what I thought was pretty. It works.

These are my ideas for the foot stools.

Option #1:

This stool comes in a pair which I thought was uber cute. the Senator, notsomuch.

Option #2:

Never mind the random item underneath. I was in a terrible rush and didn't have time to stage the furniture properly.

Option #3:

This is my favorite. It's very traditional, but we're growing up and I thought it would be a nice accent against the mahogany wood.

Now, the Senator's thoughts are equally as negative as mine are positive. He wants wood. Preferably the same color as our bed furniture. I want something a bit more cushion-ie, but still having a touch of class.
