It's a Wonderful Day in the Neighborhood

Dear God: Thank you! Dear Me: You did it... 1/4 of a century. Congratulations. Dear Senator: Thanks for being such a great hubbster. Words can not express how wonderful and warm you make me feel. These past 7 years of my life have been nothing short of an adventure and it's safe to say that as we grow older things will only get better.

I'm 25 today. Just shy of three months ago I was throwing fit about turning 25, and making blog posts about things that make me happy, and trying to distract myself from being depressed, and so on and so forth. As this milestone quickly approached, my life goals slowly began to come to pass. Hubbster and I had serious financial goals (you can read more about those here) and it was not looking good. Thankfully, we were able to pay off almost 100% of our debt. What's left will be done in September of 2011. We live a bit more stress free, who am I kidding? ALOT more stress free. Now, as the financial head of the household, I'm in search of a good budgeting tool that will help me manage our monies appropriately. I was using Mint.com, but they don't do well with updating and it pisses me off!

Anyway, for my birthday we're going to Eggspectation in downtown Silver Spring, then to Solomon's Island for a day of walking and whatnot. I've never been to Solomon's Island. Have you?
