Today I had the most amazing experience with lay-a-way. I was to meet a client of mine at her store (unsure of the site/on my phone but the name of the store is Blessed 24:7) our meeting got cancelled due to a schedule conflict but it was not a lost cause. As you know the Senator and I are on a strict budget and we've also just moved. So shopping at this point is out of the question... W/o some serious saving and delayed gratification. I chose five pieces of which I failed to take photos of and put them on lay-a-way. Can I tell you I felt so good and ... Yea, responsible for doing so. I walked out with my head high and my dream night light lit. I had a goal to save toward and for once in a very long time I would purchase without the subtle guilt of that-money-could-have-been-used-else-where. I called Senator graves right away and td him of the great news. He wasn't as thrilled as I was but he wasn't unhappy either. Our budget was still in tact and ... Well I did good. Lay-a-way could be the answer to alot debt questions, don't you think? I mean good financial strategist tell you to take a cool-down period before buying anyway. Lay-a-way is the perfect cool-down period. I don't know, maybe this goes on my I'm-totally-psycho list. Bottom line - I LOVE LAY-A-WAY!
