When the Senator and I moved into his grandmothers home to save money and pay off bills, I thought it was going to be a cut and dry deal. We'd go on living our lives at our pace and she would go own doing the same for herself.... In six months that we've lived here, we've only had one sit down discussion about the house rules, and .... that does not include her sitting down to ask us when were we moving out as a result of our non-communication.
I've been going through so many changes... I am not from a family of close interaction. I mean... we were there for one another when times got rough, i guess.... but not like the Senator's family. It's like I stepped into a time zone completely unfamiliar to me and.... frankly it's wearing me out.
Now, I'm finding myself in this place of emotional accountability and hating it... ABSOLUTELY HATING IT!!!! I guess I'm not over my emotional/trust issues as much as I thought I was.
So, here's the plan. I'm going to begin the "Chronicles of Compromise" here on my blog. You're more than welcomed to follow along.
The objective: to gain lessons valuable to life - More specifically, trust, the importance of emotional accountability, faith in others, and... a greater insight on the element of life called 'family'
The proposal: to stay ten months, (approximately 304 days) more than our current agreement, which is November 1st.

For the remainder of this month I will prepare to present our case to Oma (the Senator's grandmother). the Senator and I together will devise a strict plan to meet every goal we set to ensure that when we do leave it will be, how do they say.... "All Good", LOL
Our goals:
- To decrease our overall debt by 50%
- Increase our credit score by at least 6 pts. each
- Establish a household budget complete with a timeline to be reviewed once a month
- Strengthen the relationship between myself and the Senator's family
