Inured 2 all matters concerning family

{Welcome to the whinny edition}
Since my last post I've been on an up and down roller coaster ride of emotions with regards to my ovaries. The Sunday before last I was rushed to the ER due to excruciating pain on my right side. the Senator and I thought it was appendacitius but Dr.'s determined no infections were present and ruled out that diagnosis. After 14 hours, yes that's right, 14 hours of white chalky junk juice, IV bags, parading the halls in my rain boots, narcotic injections, stoic disgnosis from the house dr.'s, and anything else you can imagine. I was sent home and said to have cyst the size of a navel orange. Ouch! is right.

"OUCH!!!" IS RIGHT

Shortly after having my citrus inspired cyst removed, I began the recoperating process. Hence was birthed four [insert whitty adjective here] - filled days of forced rest and inescapable fidgetiness.

I had my follow-up appointment today and MIL went with me. She helped me ask all the pertinent questions which included a very detailed baby-making plan. That's right... we're officially on the road to procreation. While I was on bed rest I emmersed myself in Discovery Health and TLC. Nothing but adorable babies, surgeries, and all the gross what-not's you could think of.

I imagine all types of baby goodness and forget the fact that Dr. said we'd have to hump every other day for a week straight. {btw, that schedule makes me mentally exhausted}. I mean, who doesn't want to be pregnant!? The models, they make it look so easy!

{In other news}
I'll be traveling to Alaska on Monday to nurse my mom back to health after a very much needed knee replacement surgery. I have been quiet capricious about traveling, but as of now; I'm excited about going. I think the issue is the time factor. I'll be going for almost a solid month. Let me remind you, this isn't just a leisure visit with the parental, this is a visit to work. One that will give her full reign to whine and complain and be as needy as she usually is... plus more. I've begun planning my distractions. My plan is to follow this calendar of events as closely as possible. I've thought of many things I could do in addition that would get me out of the house; one of them being creating a Month-long Blogumentary. {I just made that up} Here is the problem. I'll tell myself I'm going to do it, get all 7 of my followers excited, then I'll flake. So... I'm NOT going to commit myself to experiencing something new everyday in Alaska and blog about it. I'm NOT going try new foods, learn the origin, and blog about it. Lastly I'm NOT going to interview the locals at the fair and record their responses and blog about it. There. :)

Alright... it's almost 7:00pm which means it's time for the Senator and I to get on the road. We're attending rehearsal tonight even though we won't be a service Sunday. Later, we're indulging Rita's with some friends before my departure.

Toodles!
