I was supposed to be baking Keylime cupcakes and pumpkin pie tonight, but my MIL did not come home until late.... I hate to show up to dinner tomorrow empty handed, so I think I'm going to make Chocolate chip cookies and chocolate oatmeal cookies. I've got so work to do still, so I may as well finish my laundry and bake while I'm up. I took a three hour nap this afternoon so I've got a little more juice....
16 cards later I'm finding myself sitting at the kitchen table looking forward to the weekend. The senator and I will be taking O to Brooklyn on Sunday. She's leaving for Germany on the 1st and flying out of NY. Until now I had not given it much thought, but suddenly I'm feeling a bit excited. Although things have gotten much better... I'm still excited about the the idea of us having the place to ourselves. While she is gone we'll be meeting with NACA to discuss our home buying options. I'm praying things will go smoothly...
I think I hear the Senator downstairs snoring.. he's been fighting some kind of illness lately...
