While I was out - Photo Journal

So, it's been a while, and the following will kind of give you an idea as to what I have been doing.
L to R: K (the senator's younger brother) and D his girlfriend, K (MIL) and V (Step-FIL), and Me and the senator on Christmas Eve at Oma's house.
The 50 y/o hanger that belonged to Opa (Oma's late hubby). So this is a really cool story, Opa, left not only a reputable legacy of accountants, marketing executives, and lawyers, he also left history. This is one of the hangers he used to hang his uniform, inscribed on it is the birth place of his son, A (the gentleman holding it), which gives way to an entirely different story we don't have time to tell.
Our tree on Christmas Eve, before all the family arrives. :)
L to R: J, the senator's younger cousin, Oma, the senator's grandmother, and R, the senator's other younger cousin.
You know these people
Oma and A (baby Jesus). I wish I knew the entire story to tell, it's funny.
The infamous peppermint ornaments.... I ended up giving them away to my colleagues who write with me on THIS BLOG. They were a big hit, and very, very, very, sweet and tasty. I probably will do them again, but not make them eatable to I can actually hang them on my tree.
A throw back, (Thanksgiving), but too cute not to show. H, the senator's aunt, sent these from Germany for K (the senators mom) and Oma. She couldn't be there, but still wanted to be remembered. Lol!
Mr. and Mrs. Clause....

That concludes my photo journal. It's good to be back, I hope everyone had a wonderful New Year and that you're off to a even more wonderful start for 2009.
