a yummy smorgasbord of food

today the senator and i went to lunch at this great restaurant in baltimore, Kali's Court, absolutely divine! it's down at fell's point, which is another place we have never been. about two years ago we went to this little club called the Latin Place for my girlfriend's 25th birthday, it was a lot of fun and we had no idea this entire other world was just around the corner.  

on the way home after lunch, i told the senator about my goal(s) for the new year. i make resolutions all year, so there's not sense in making any "special" resolutions just because it's the beginning of 2009. i've decided to be more creative, explore more friendships, and embrace who i am (once i find out who that is). it's so stupid to say "i don't know who i am", but if the truth be told... i felt like i wanted to say something really enlightening, but nothing came to mind. 

what i don't want to do is spend time being frustrated about my finding nothing new, instead, i'm going to throw myself into feeding every inquisitive intuition that arises. 

first things first, make lunch for the senator and i tomorrow.
