gifts that keep a relationship strong

for all the traveling couples out there who don't get to see much of one another,

web cam to the rescue! it's a phenomenal tool. i just recommended it to a friend of mine who travels very often for his job. he's on a plane every monday going someplace new and far for meetings. he's got a little boy who adores him and a wife who loves him dearly, so i thought i would be a great suggestion.

had a meeting with my supervisor this morning about heightening my responsibilities in the office. when you supervisor says to you in an evaluation "i don't want you to be stagnant", what does this mean exactly? i mean does she notice you're bored and just can't find an appropriate way to say that to you? i don't know, but i'm glad she did.

in addition to this, a p.a. (physician assistant) who approached me in the physician's lounge and asked me if i wanted to advance my career.... well of course i do!!! so i spent all afternoon yesterday meeting with the head of the department and it looks as though i'm doing the same this afternoon.

it'll be interesting to see how everything pans out... i'll let you know
