to germany (again), and london, england (first time for him & kind of me too, i went when i was 12). i texted him today and asked if he would like to go sometime next year. i was thinking the summer coming up.... no response, then i got impatient and called, he answered, i asked again and he said "i want to learn german too". he says this because in my text i say "i'll learn german for the both of us" by this i mean, i'll learn MORE german so we aren't completely lost on our trip. my problem with him is HE IS GERMAN!!! i mean not just a little, A LOT!!! when asked if he wanted to perfect it as a young child, his response "it's in my blood".... HEY SENATOR!!! IT'S NOT IN YOUR BLOOD!!!! anyway, i digress... we've decided to invest in the Rosetta Stone and learn together. Does anyone know if this is a good buy. my only knowledge of it is a quick google search and commercials.
i'm planning something romantic and i want to make it really special. i don't think we will go around any "special" time, too much pressure to go over the top. if anyone has any suggestions as to what special sites to visit, please don't be shy!
